Camp @ Masjid Penempatan Melayu Sembawang

It is confirmed, we are going to have our camp this weekend 10th to 11th April 2010. Please be at Sembawang MRT Station by 8:30 am. Together we will go to the campsite.

On the 11th of April, we will be heading to Cheng San CC to continue with the activity and we have arranged a friendly sparring session with Bandangan Asli on that Sunday as well.

It is time to regroup…

All anak Macans may have noticed at our Facebook that we are going to organize a camp at Masjid Penempatan Kampung Melayu Sembawang on Saturday, 10th of April 2010. This will be our starting point for all of us to show our commitment to the challenges ahead, particularly PSK 2010.

As such, this event is the first of a series of events that is compulsory for those who wants to join the competition this year. We do not see why people who cannot commit to this event can be seriously considered for the tournament at all. So if you want to join this year’s PSK 2010, you must sign up for the camp or else you will not represent our Perguruan this year.

Please pass this message to all anak Macan that you are in contact with.

T-Shirt design for Macan Pasrah Singapore 2010

This is the finalized design for Macan Pasrah Singapore for 2010. So far the responses that we have received is very encouraging. The first batch of orders will be closed at the end of this month. This means we need everyone to pay up by then.

The price of the t-shirt is $25 for size M upwards and $22 for size S downwards. Add $2 if you want the long sleeve t-shirt. We are currently taking the sizes and the names to appear on the t-shirt.

Welcome Back… and New T-shirt design

I am glad that some of our former anak macan have decided to come and continue training with us. Most of them are quite surprised by how much it has developed and for me I am happy to see that they still got their macan skills in tact eventhough it is at the level where they left.

Another thing that I am proud of are my current batch of anak macan namely Fadli, Yazid and Zafirah who had upheld our reputation by being able to showcase the current standard of Macan Pasrah’s fighter to those who returned by sparring very well with them. They convinced the returning anak-anak Macan to come back and update themselves with the ever developing dynamic art of Macan Pasrah. I for one will not consider coming back and train if I can lick the current batch easily because I will find no reason at all to continue training and learning the art if this were to happen.

Hence, thank you very much to our current fighters and welcome back Alim, Dewi and Nizam. I hope you guys stick around and together we can bring our beloved fight art of Macan Pasrah to the next level….Insya Allah… Hidup Macan Pasrah !!!

New design on the back of the T-shirt

Do you like our new design that will appear at the back portion of the t-shirt. It will be in yellow on a red colour t-shirt. Most probably it will be made of dryfitt quality. Please contact us as soon as possible because we are ordering them very very soon…

Highlights of Combat Games 15th Nov 2009

This time around we had a new group of Martial Art enthusiast supporting the event. The game concept was used. Combatants played two rounds of 2 minutes in order to know the winner of the bout with a third round tie-breaker where necessary. Juries were made up of the participants and supporters for that day. All of us had a great time be it watching the game or sparring in the arena.

At the end of the session, we sat in a circle and gave feedbacks about the game. I have collated all of it and I will be discussing the issues. The findings and refining will be posted here as soon as possible. In the meantime enjoy the video clip above and view the individual bouts by going to the video link of this site.

Tentatively, the next Combat Games will be held on Saturday, 27th February 2010, 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Cheng San CC. I hope to be able to use their Main Hall this time around. Thank you and stay tuned for the latest here…
